Texas A&M lands 5-Star commit Brandon Arrington

Five-star athlete Brandon Arrington, the No. 26 overall recruit, has committed to Texas A&M over Oregon after starring as a two-way player at Mount Miguel High.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Five-star athlete Brandon Arrington, one of the top recruits in the country, has committed to Texas A&M, he announced Thursday.

Arrington, who plays both wide receiver and cornerback at Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley, California, is ranked as the No. 26 overall recruit in the Class of 2025 and the No. 2 player in California, according to 247Sports. The 6-foot-2 standout chose the Aggies over more than 40 offers, ultimately narrowing his decision to Texas A&M and Oregon.

Arrington’s versatility and playmaking ability drew comparisons to NFL star Travis Hunter, as he excelled on both sides of the ball throughout his high school career. In his 2024 season, he caught 57 passes for 527 yards and five touchdowns on offense, while tallying 26 tackles and an interception on defense.

His commitment marks a major recruiting win for first-year head coach Mike Elko, who continues to build momentum in College Station. Arrington becomes one of the highest-rated pledges in the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class.

“Texas A&M felt like home,” Arrington said in his announcement on X.

With Arrington in the fold, the Aggies add an elite two-way talent who could contribute immediately at the collegiate level.
