BOERNE, Texas — Donations are pouring in for the victims of the Hill Country floods.
The Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries in Boerne is working to ensure the donations don’t go to waste.
As more volunteers work to keep these donations flowing, the ministry got a visit from the Priest Holmes Foundation, and some former pro football players to help their efforts.

While filling carts for Hill Country hearts, volunteers of every age and backgrounds sift and sort.
“You can see donations of water for the families and for the volunteers… search-and-rescue because we’re still searching for people out there too,” Debi Watson said.
“We’ve been a part of many disaster relief efforts, and this one is home,” Agnes Hubbard said.
One business told KENS 5 they’ve been out to the ministry three times in the last week to drop off donations people have brought into their store.
These donations are going to people living in the Hill Country.
“We’re going to have drivers that take that straight to their homes and then keep up with them every other week with groceries,” Hubbard said.
Anyone can drop off necessary items in person or pick up items they need, no questions asked.
On their website, you can find a list of the ministry’s inventory needs or request what you need.
