Texas man arrested after stealing laptops, keyboards from 7 BCSO vehicles, officials say

Authorities arrested a man for allegedly stealing electronics seven BCSO vehicles on Tuesday.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — A man is behind bars after investigators say he stole laptops and keyboards from several Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) vehicles earlier this week.

According to investigators, the break-ins happened Tuesday while seven BCSO units were undergoing routine fleet maintenance. 

A tip later led investigators to Lorenzo DeLeon, who police say admitted to picking up another man and attempting to sell the stolen laptops, along with a leaf blower.

DeLeon was charged with engaging in criminal activity.

The investigation remains ongoing.
