Texas nurse jumps into action, performs CPR on 75-year-old woman pulled from van following crash

VIDOR, Texas — A nurse stopped to perform CPR on a 75-year-old after a single-car crash left the woman critically injured Friday morning.

The woman’s van hit an interior wall, and several people including the nurse, others who stopped, and a Rose City officer helped pull her from the vehicle, according to Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll.

She was taken to a hospital in critical condition and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
