SAN ANTONIO — The James Beard Foundation has announced the semifinalists for its 2024 Restaurants and Chefs Awards, and if we learned anything from the list, San Antonio has some of the best chefs in the Lone Star State.
The prestigious awards span 22 categories ranging from ‘Outstanding Restaurateur’ to ‘Outstanding Bar.’
The category San Antonio was most represented in was ‘Best Chef in Texas:’

One San Antonio restaurant, Mixtli, is also representing San Antonio for ‘Outstanding Hospitality.’
