According to a social post, the San Antonio and Austin shows will be the tour’s only Texas stops.
SAN ANTONIO — The Chicks are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album “Taking The Long Way” with a two-night stop in the Alamo City this fall.
The band, formerly known as the Dixie Chicks, will perform in San Antonio for two nights on Oct. 17 and 18 at the Majestic Theatre. Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 4, at 10 a.m. Fans can also sign up for presale access here.
The Chicks announced the tour on Instagram, ending the post with “still not ready to make nice,” a reference to one of the album’s most popular songs.
The trio will also stop in Austin for a one-night performance at Bass Concert Hall on Oct. 20. According to the social post, the San Antonio and Austin shows will be the tour’s only Texas stops.
