DALLAS — The most valuable basketball card of all time is being auctioned in Dallas.

Heritage Auctions on Friday said the bidding for the Kobe Bryant-Michael Jordan signed “Logoman” card has exceeded $6.1 million. The previous record for a basketball card was a Stephen Curry “Logoman” rookie patch auto that sold for $5.9 million.

The “Logoman” cards have been a high-selling item in recent years. They feature a game-worn NBA logo patch, plus an autograph. And the highest-selling among the Logomans are often cards that feature multiple future or current Hall of Famers.

The “1-of-1” Kobe-Jordan card is from the 2007 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection. Heritage is billing the card as the only such example of a Kobe-Jordan dual-signed Logoman card in history.

“We’re proud and privileged here at Heritage for the opportunity to take the title back for the auction world, providing the manner of competition and high drama that private transactions lack, and which serves as a far more fitting tribute to the iconic subjects this remarkable trading card celebrates,” Heritage said in the card’s listing. “Any collector with the hobby sophistication and financial means to pursue ownership of this singularly unique and important cardboard commemorative will have no need for this primer, but we supply it for the education of more casual collectors who will certainly be dizzied by the rarefied air this offering inhabits. Beyond the aforementioned Steph Curry card, the hobby’s highest peaks are populated by trading cards in the “league logo” theme. The current world record price for a Michael Jordan card is a Logoman ($2.93M, June 2024), as is Shohei Ohtani’s ($1.03M, March 2025). Patrick Mahomes’ record is his NFL shield card, as are Justin Herbert’s and Joe Burrow’s. Luka Doncic’s is a Logoman. The list is long.”

Reserve for the bidding of the card will post on August 20, 2025.
