The Scream Experiment is expected to open in March 2026, offering an immersive, family-friendly haunted attraction.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio is getting a new haunted-themed attraction in March 2026 that promises thrills with a story.
“The Scream Experiment,” takes guests through the spooky corridors of the so-called “Restful Sleep Hotel,” in downtown San Antonio. Organizers say visitors should expect high-energy scares, theme-park-level storytelling, and elaborate scenic elements that immerse the senses – all without any virtual reality.
Phillips Entertainment, the team behind the attraction, says they’ve teamed up with top industry designers to bring family-friendly, year-round horror fun to the Alamo City.
“We’ve teamed up with some of the industry’s best designers and are thrilled to add a brand-new style of immersive and family friendly entertainment to our city’s incredible list of attractions and experiences,” Davis Phillips, President & CEO of Phillips Entertainment said. “San Antonio is our home, and we are passionate about creating attractions where locals and visitors alike will create fun, lifelong memories with their family and friends.”
Organizers say Phillips Entertainment has over 76 years of experience in Texas’ family entertainment industry and their mission of “Memories Matter Most,” will be heightened with the new Scream Experiment attraction.
