There’s a variety of weekend events ahead whether you’re looking to bust out the dancing shoes, witness the paranormal or experience an enchanted Disney adventure.

SAN ANTONIO — There’s something for everyone this weekend in San Antonio, from the return of a beloved music festival to a haunted encounter with the inspiration behind a horror film franchise.

The weather will be perfect to get the family out of the house. Here’s all the excitement you won’t want to miss.

Tejano Conjunto Festival

A beloved and internationally recognized South Texas musical tradition returns to San Antonio for three days of culture, music and community.

The 43rd Tejano Conjunto Festival is the first and longest-running Conjunto festival in the country showcasing the very best of the genre. Bring your dancing shoes! The multi-day event features a long lineup of performers taking the stage at Rosedale Park.

This year’s winning poster showcases a tribute to Conjunto legend Flaco Jiménez, who has been recovering since a medical issue prompted him to be hospitalized back in January.

When: Friday, May 16 – Sunday, May 18

Psychic & Spirit Fest

Fans of “The Conjuring” universe, the blockbuster horror franchise based on the alleged real-life adventures of Paranormal Investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren… you are in for a treat, so long as you’re up for it!

Annabelle, the famous “haunted doll” that inspired a trilogy of spinoff films within “The Conjuring” franchise, will visit the Alamo City as part of the traveling display of The Warrens Occult Museum for the Psychic & Spirit Fest 2025.

The event features guest speakers including demonologists, psychics, mediums, spiritualists and more.

Wine Fest

Whether you prefer a bold red, lighter white, rose or sparkling, all wine-lovers are invited to the Tower of Americas this Saturday for Wine Fest.

Guests can enjoy an exciting afternoon of wine tasting, appetizers and live entertainment featuring 24 wineries from Washington State, the second-largest wine producer in the U.S.

This is a 21+ only event.

When: Saturday, May 17 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Concert in the Park

On Sunday, San Antonio’s premier all-female mariachi group makes its eighth appearance at the King William Association Concert in the Park series at Beautify San Antonio Park.

The free family-friendly outdoor event will feature the prestigious and exquisite talent of Mariachi Damas de Jalisco.

When: Sunday, May 18

‘The Little Mermaid’

Transport under the sea for an adventure with beloved Disney characters in a magical underwater adventure as the Children’s Ballet of San Antonio presents “The Little Mermaid” at the Majestic Theatre. 

Featuring enchanting music from the beloved tale, this 90-minute production will involve more than 200 performers, including rising star ballet and contemporary dancers.

The production also includes a mix of classical and contemporary choreography, as well as aerial acrobats and special effects combining digital imagery, stage props and even a real pool. It is a must-see for the whole family.

Plus, the show will feature a pre-show market, face-painting and photos with cast members ahead of each performance.
