GALVESTON, Texas — Starting November 9, 2025, travelers sailing from Galveston will experience a bold new mix of Texas-inspired entertainment and Caribbean vibes aboard MSC Cruises’ MSC Seascape.
The cruise line announced its expanded onboard lineup this week, promising everything from a resident country music band to sports streamed on Texas-sized screens. Guests can also expect a new cruise director with Southern roots — Ryan Rose — who will lead the ship’s dynamic entertainment program.
A Texas-style sendoff at sea
Steve Leatham, VP of Entertainment for MSC Cruises, said:
“MSC Seascape is bringing big energy and even bigger experiences to Galveston with remarkable entertainment options that blend local flavors with top-notch productions to offer countless hours of vibrant shows and experiences for everyone.”
Among the highlights:
- The Lone Star resident country music band
- A dueling pianos experience in the Uptown Lounge
- Caribbean steel drum performances and lessons by the main pool

- Texas-themed pop-up street theater acts
- Comedy programming in the Forward Theatre
These additions join a robust slate of Broadway-style productions, interactive events, and live music already part of the ship’s weekly seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries.
Showstopping productions
Guests can enjoy nightly theater shows in the Forward Theatre, including:
- Imaginocean – An ocean-themed production with aerial acts, puppetry, and couture costumes.

Beyond the stage
Entertainment stretches across the ship, from the futuristic ROBOTRON ride and interactive XD cinema to a Formula Racer simulator. Expansive outdoor decks, six pools (including an infinity pool with sweeping views), and a 1,772-foot-long waterfront promenade keep guests close to the sea.
Families will find more than 7,500 square feet of dedicated kids’ space, while adults can enjoy 11 dining venues, 19 bars and lounges, and one of the largest MSC Yacht Club facilities in the fleet.
