Here’s this weekend’s lineup of events happening around town to keep your family warm as wintry weather sweeps through South Texas.

SAN ANTONIO — The holidays are over and temperatures are frigid, but that doesn’t stop the weekend fun. 

Here’s what’s on tap for this weekend in San Antonio.

‘Hadestown’ at the Majestic Theatre

The Tony award-winning musical comes to the Alamo City this weekend. From Friday through Sunday, you can catch the acclaimed new show by celebrated singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell that is a “haunting and hopeful theatrical experience that grabs you and never lets go.”

Free Week at Paper Tiger

Also happening through the weekend, enjoy three days of music across multiple genres featuring bands, and DJs on multiple stages at the Paper Tiger, the busy and intimate music venue located on the St. Mary’s Strip.

DreamWeek San Antonio

Kicking off this weekend, the annual DreamWeek summit comprises a series of events designed to “foster the free exchange of ideas on universal issues affecting humanity.” The summit runs until Jan. 26.

Shane Gillis at Frost Bank Center

Have a laugh as stand-up comedian and Comedy Central alum Shane Gillis brings his tour to the Alamo City this Friday.

Maria Villasenor at Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club

Another comedian to San Antonio this weekend is former SNL member, stand-up comedian and accomplished voice actor Maria Villasenor.
