Thousands are expected to attend The Weeknd’s Alamodome show on Wednesday. Here’s what to know.

Heading downtown for the concert? So are roughly 43,000 others.

SAN ANTONIO — One of the more highly anticipated concert dates of the fall, The Weeknd is set to perform at the Alamodome—where he’s expected to be accompanied by more than 43,000 fans, according to city officials.

The Weeknd is one of the biggest R&B stars of the last decade, with four Grammy wins, a Super Bowl halftime show and a burgeoning acting career under his belt.

The San Antonio gig – the penultimate stop on The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn” tour – is set to start at 7 p.m., with doors to the Alamodome opening at 5 p.m. But fans who arrive even earlier will be able to snag merch, food and drinks starting at 3 p.m. at H-E-B Plaza (bring a small fan; it’s expected to reach the high-90s once again!).

Where can I park?

Those planning to take their own cars downtown, be warned: The city says parking at Lots B and C of the Alamodome will run you $60, and you’ll have to pay via credit card. Handicap parking will be in Lot A, while Lot C is reserved for suite holders.

But VIA is one again running its Park-and-Ride service allowing fans to get to the Alamodome for just $2.60 round-trip. The service will be running from VIA’s stations at 151 Crossroads Blvd., 1 Frost Bank Center Parkway and 3026 Sidney Brooks Drive. Parking at those locations is free, and return service runs for one hour after the curtains drop.

Those taking Uber, Lyft or another ride share service to the ‘Dome can expect to be dropped off at Lot D. That’s also where ride share pickup will be after the show.

What can I bring in?

The Alamodome has a strict policy when it comes to the bags you can and can’t bring inside the stadium. Approved bags include clear backpacks, small clutch purses, clear fanny packs and a gallon-sized clear plastic bags—so long as they’re the right size.

Are tickets still available?

As of Tuesday evening, yes. Prime floor tickets will run you about $612 a pop, with some resale tickets going for more than $1,500. Cheaper options start at around $75. Check out what’s available here
