Thousands of child porn images found on man’s phone after Live Oak investigation, police say

Thousands of disturbing child porn images were found on a man’s phone after a report of a man taking photos up a woman’s skirt at Target, police say.

Investigators in Live Oak uncovered thousands of disturbing images and videos of child pornography on a man’s phone after an investigation, police say.

Enrique Martinez IV, 21, is now facing charges of possession of child pornography.

Live Oak police say it all started in March when an officer responded to a call at a Target store. Witnesses say they had seen a man taking photos under a woman’s skirt.

Surveillance footage and a license plate led investigators to Martinez. His phone was later seized in July. A forensic review showed thousands of videos and images of children under the age of 10, police said. Footage was also uncovered of women in public restrooms taken without their knowledge, arrest documents said.

Investigators say they found deleted messages and files showing Martinez had possessed and deleted even more explicit material.

Martinez faces up to 20 years in prison on the charges.
