SAN MARCOS, Texas — Three men accused of a jewelry store smash and grab were themselves grabbed by San Marcos Police.
Police say on April 25, these three men went in to Royal Jewelers with hammers and stole more than a 100 pieces of jewelry.
Police say the men ordered the employee to get to the ground, then started smashing display cases.
The suspects fled in a stolen Ford Fusion with a fake temporary tag, then later switched vehicles to a white Dodge Durango.
Surveillance cameras and license plate reader technology helped catch the men.
Marcus Javae Williams, 28, Montah Jabriel Franklin, 27, and Telvine Jabber Daw, 31, were all taken into custody.
All three are now facing aggravated robbery and organized criminal activity charges.
