Three men injured in highway shooting on San Antonio’s west side, police say

Three men were hospitalized after being shot during a suspected road rage incident on the west side early Wednesday morning, according to San Antonio police.

SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a suspect involved in a triple shooting and car crash on the west side of town early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened around 2:10 a.m. near the 800 block of Cupples Road and Highway 90.

Police say the victims were traveling westbound on Highway 90 when their vehicle was struck by a dark-colored car. That same vehicle then repeatedly rammed into them from behind.

Investigators say both vehicles eventually pulled over, and the suspect vehicle’s occupants opened fire, striking all three men.

The victims were able to drive off the highway and made it to Baptist Neighborhood Hospital on Cupples Road, where they sought help.

All three men were transported to BAMC. Their conditions were not immediately available.

No arrests have been announced, and the suspect vehicle has not been located.

The investigation is ongoing.
