Three people injured in drive-by shooting outside of bar on southwest side, police say

No description was provided for the suspect, who fled from the location before police arrived.

SAN ANTONIO — Three people were injured in a shooting outside of a southwest-side bar early Sunday morning, according to police.

Officers were flagged down around 1:30 a.m. to Dejavu Sport’s Bar in the 2400 block of Nogalitos Street near West Malone Avenue. for a reported shooting.

Police found one of the victims outside with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers say that two of the victims were exiting the building when a suspect in an unidentified vehicle began firing off rounds at them. They told police they ran behind a building as the suspect continued firing at them. A third victim was parked at a gas station south of the location was struck by a bullet. That victim drove themself to the hospital. 

The victims range in ages from 24 to 32 years old, according to police.

All of the victims are said to be in stable condition, police say. No description was provided for the suspect, who fled from the location before police arrived.

This is still an active investigation.
