SAN ANTONIO — Three people were shot outside of a northeast-side event center after police say at least one gunman opened fire into a crowd early Sunday morning.
San Antonio Police responded to the parking lot at La Bona Vida Event Center on Wye Drive at Perrin Beitel Road around 2:46 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
Police say a large crowd was gathered when the shots rang out, wounding three people. All three have non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital. There may be a fourth victim that had reportedly drove away from the scene.
Security at the event center told police they saw multiple muzzle flashes coming from across the street. Police found several shell casings and evidence where security reported the flashes.
Police are investigating what led to the shooting. A description of the suspect or suspects was not provided by police.
Police say they are not getting any information from witnesses at the scene.
No other Injuries were reported.
