From country, to Tejano, and even comedy… an eclectic mix of entertainers are gathering to perform.
SAN ANTONIO — A lot of flood relief concerts are in the works in support of our Texas Hill Country neighbors devastated by the catastrophic floods of July Fourth, including one featuring Lyle Lovett, Los Lonely Boys, Reckless Kelly and comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias.
“Together for Texas” will happen next month on August 18 at the H-E-B Performance Hall at the Tobin Center in San Antonio.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at tobincenter.org, by phone (210) 223-8624 or in-person at The Tobin Center Box Office (100 Auditorium Circle, 78205). Tickets start at $75. A $35 GA ticket to watch a simulcast of the event on Tobin Center’s Will Naylor Smith Riverwalk Plaza is also available. Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
“At The Tobin Center, we believe in the power of the arts to bring people together, especially in times of need,” said Michael Fresher, President & CEO of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. “Together for Texas is more than a concert, it’s a call to stand with our Hill Country neighbors as they begin the long road to recovery. We’re proud to partner with organizations and artists across the region to turn compassion into meaningful action.”
If you can’t attend the event but still wish to support the cause, donations can be made through The Tobin Center website event page. Every dollar raised will go to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to provide immediate and long-term assistance where it’s needed most.
