This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Navy All-American Bowl, which has produced 631 NFL Draft picks, six Heisman Trophy winners, and more than 200 Pro Bowl selections. The matchup features top senior and junior players from across the country, including Tennessee-bound Tristen Keys, the nation’s top-ranked wide receiver, who will suit up for the East team.
The San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game highlights standout local stories as well. Fifteen coaches with players selected for the game also competed in it themselves, and both teams feature quarterbacks whose fathers serve as their high school head coaches. Team Blue quarterback Major Luna of Poth High School is coached by his father, Jeff Luna, while Team White quarterback Corey Dailey of Seguin High School is coached by his father, Craig Dailey.
Other notable players include Harlan running back G’Ivori Graham, a TCU commit who is deaf, and Israel Soto, the first athlete from Karnes City High School ever selected to play in the game.
Players were nominated by their high school coaches and selected by a committee, with many earning All-District honors during their senior seasons.
