Topgolf is celebrating a huge milestone with it’s 100th location in the U.S. set to open in South Texas next week. Here’s everything to know before tee time.
SAN ANTONIO — Golfers, non-golfers and everyone who just likes a good time will soon have a new hangout spot just a short drive from San Antonio.
Topgolf announced its newest two-level venue in New Braunfels will officially open Friday, December 5. The grand opening marks Topgolf’s 100th U.S. location and its 112th worldwide, according to a press release.

The venue, located at 427 Creekside Way, features 62 outdoor climate-controlled bays, lounge seating and high-top tables. About 200 “Playmakers,” including bay hosts, bartenders and other staff, will run the day-to-day operations.
Topgolf describes its experience as golf for everybody — whether you’ve perfected your swing or can barely hold a club. The company said it celebrates both the shanks and the perfect shots, thanks in part to features like its exclusive “Sure Thing” beginner-friendly club and Toptracer technology, which tracks ball flight and distance on screen.
Players can hit toward giant outfield targets or keep things competitive with virtual courses and games, including Topgolf’s new Field Goal Challenge that uses digital uprights to test accuracy and bragging rights.
Beyond the tees, Topgolf says the venue doubles as an all-in-one entertainment hub with a full-service bar and restaurant, hundreds of HDTVs, fire pits, a nine-hole mini golf course, music and year-round programming for families. A semi-private event space will also be available for corporate outings and celebrations.
Topgolf Chief Operating Officer and Interim President Erin Chamberlin called the New Braunfels opening “a celebration of the fun, energy and innovation that makes Topgolf unlike any other entertainment experience,” adding that the company is excited to grow its local player base.
New Braunfels Mayor Neal Linnartz also said Topgolf brings jobs, economic benefits and a new entertainment destination for families along the I-35 corridor.
The venue officially tees off on December 5.
