Topps honors Spurs rookie Stephon Castle’s 2024-25 Rookie of the Year Award.
SAN ANTONIO — The NBA announced San Antonio Spurs rookie guard Stephon Castle was named the 2024-25 NBA Rookie of the Year. Topps has released his Rookie of the Year card, which is available now.
The card features the San Antonio guard embracing the basketball with “2024-25 Rookie of the Year” splashed across the front.

Castle joins a who’s-who of notable Spurs to capture the award. He is the fourth Spur to win, joining Wembanyama, Tim Duncan, and David Robinson.
In addition, following Wembanyama’s Rookie of the Year Award last season, San Antonio became the fifth team in NBA history to feature back-to-back rookie winners—a testament to the Spurs’ development and scouting.
And Topps captured that moment in league history with a 1-of-1 duo-autographed card featuring Castle’s teammate, Victor Wembanyama, who won the award in 2023-24, on the same card. This card will likely be a fortune for whoever finds it in a pack.

It features the Spurs’ signatures and the year they won the award, with “Back-to-Back Rookie of the Year” written across the card. It also comes in an alternate foil style.

Topps also released a card featuring the Rookie of the Year, including a piece of his Spurs jersey and an autograph. It is also a 1-of-1 card according to the Topps image.

One card costs $11.99, five cards are $49.99, 10 are $89.99, and 20 are $169.99.
There was no doubt that Castle would walk home with the award.
He averaged a rookie-best 14.7 points, with 4.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 0.91 steals. He was also the first Spurs rookie since Duncan to rank top two on the team in both points and assists, while leading all rookies in total points (1,190), made field goals (423), total steals (74) and made 100-plus more free throws (249) than any other first-year player.
The 2025 Rising Stars MVP earned Western Conference Rookie of the Month honors in January and March and was the only player in the 2024 draft class to surpass 1,000 points.
