SAN ANTONIO — In case you didn’t know, the NBA’s trading card world got flipped upside down with the licensing going from Panini to Topps.
According to Topps, the company and the NBA have rejoined for a long-term exclusive trading card partnership and immediately, Topps announced several new cards including the first ever Victor Wembanyama autographs wearing his San Antonio Spurs jersey.
The card features Wemby in his white Association Spurs jersey with his autograph on the front of the card.
“This release marks the debut of Victor Wembanyama’s first NBA licensed Topps autograph cards,” posted Topps.

Joining Wemby in Topps’ first release of trading cards is his teammate, guard Dylan Harper.
The card features the rookie in his black Icon Spurs jersey with his signature below while at the NBA rookie photoshoot.
Another card with Harper is a triple autograph card with fellow rookies Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel.
Pre-orders for the Wemby and Harper cards will be available October 3 at 11am CST. There’s no information currently on pricing.
Topps also announced that more Spurs players cards will be coming out soon and features Keldon Johnson, De’Aaron Fox, Jeremy Sochan, Stephon Castle, and ex-Spur Chris Paul.
Trading cards (sports or non-sports) are a big deal among fans and even with Wembanyama.
By now, everyone knows he is a Star Wars fanatic.
And he proved that during Fanatics Fest 2025, when he paid $2,500 for a rare 1977 Luke Skywalker trading card signed by actor Mark Hamill, after negotiating with the vendor.
“I really love this one,” Wemby said when he saw the Skywalker autographed card. “That’s dope, man”
