Topps releases Spurs’ Dylan Harper’s rookie card; Wembanyama pays $2,500 for Star Wars trading card

“That’s dope, man,” Wemby said after negotiating for a rare Star Wars trading card.

SAN ANTONIO — Right when he became a member of the San Antonio Spurs, Topps instantly released Dylan Harper’s rookie card, which is available now

The card features the San Antonio guard in his 2025 NBA Draft Day outfit with “RC” at the corner denoting his rookie card.

It also features the No. 2 slot, where he was selected in the draft.

Topps also released an alternate Harper card featuring his certified autograph with “2nd overall pick” inscribed by the rookie; however, it is a one-of-one, so be on the lookout.

Harper cards also come in green, blue, gold, orange, and other foil colors.

The cards are available from Jun 25, 2025, and expire on Jun 28, 2025, Topps announced. One card will cost $11.99, and a pack of 20 cards will be $169.99.

WEMBY SPENDS THOUSANDS FOR A STAR WARS CARD

By now, everyone knows Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama is a huge Star Wars fanatic.

And he proved that at Fanatics Fest 2025, when he paid $2,500 for a rare 1977 Luke Skywalker trading card signed by actor Mark Hamill, after negotiating with the vendor.

“I really love this one,” Wemby said when he saw the Skywalker autographed card. “That’s dope, man.”
