No one was injured when the touring helicopter tipped over during takeoff.
GALVESTON, Texas — A helicopter tipped over in a minor incident in Galveston Tuesday.
No one was injured during the incident with the touring helicopter near Seawall Boulevard.
The helicopter pilot was the only person inside. The helicopter was taking off and was about one foot in the air when the aircraft tipped.
The pilot was taken from the helicopter.
The Federal Aviation Administration was alerted to the incident and will investigate. The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
