
SAFD believes someone abandoned the vehicle on the tracks before a train crashed into it, causing the car to burst into flames.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters responded to a fiery crash early Friday morning after officials said an abandoned car was left on the railroad tracks on the city’s east side.
SAFD said the incident happened just before 5 a.m. on a railroad track between East Commerce Street and East Houston Street near the Frost Bank Center.
Authorities believe someone abandoned the vehicle on the tracks before a train crashed into it, causing the car to burst into flames.
No one was hurt.
