SAN ANTONIO — Brothers and owners of Oasis Snack Delights & Purified Water – Juan Pablo and Cristobal Flores serve snacks that make people smile.
“Some of the recipes, really come to be by customers,” Juan Pablo said. “My dad told us about maybe owning our business one day. It wasn’t until my brother’s first year of college. He was actually the one to drop out.”
That’s the push the brothers needed to dive headfirst into the snack game!
“We started experimenting with our Italian shaved ice putting it into a blender and making it into a drink and everything,” Cristobal said. “That’s how the slushies came to be. But I remember at the very beginning, it was like ‘bro, you have a kitchen here like you have all the ingredients now it’s time for you to go out and cook.”
That’s exactly what the Flores brothers did!
When you visit the shop, be sure to try the ‘Hot Cheetos Corn in a Cup,’ the ‘Super Agua Fresca’ with watermelon, pineapple, and lime, and the ‘Mango Italian Ice’ with chamoy.
