O’Brien’s is where you’ll find decadent desserts and savory southern staples – like steak and seafood.
SAN ANTONIO — Owner Tim O’Brien says his restaurant specializes in fresh, never frozen – homemade cooking.
Welcome to O’Brien’s Restaurant in Bergheim!
“We have a little bit of everything!” O’Brien said. “All of the desserts are cooked by my daughter Trisha and then my son is our food guru in the kitchen.“
They not only work their magic in the kitchen, but in the dining room too.
“We’re hands on with customers,” he said. “My daughter and I sit up front in the evening try to have dinner, and everybody who walks in the door is always waving or we come up and meet them.”

Their ‘Texas Wedge’ salad is covered in poblano ranch dressing, pico, bacon and blue cheese crumble. It’s also the restaurant’s top selling salad for the last 21 years.
Next, you have to try their prime akaushi burger on a jalapeno bun with fresh cut fries. Their chicken shrimp artichoke is also a top seller.

If you’re in the mood for fish, dive into their parmesan crusted haddock topped with lemon caper butter sauce.
O’Brien’s Restaurant is located in the quaint town of Bergheim, at 848 SH-46 East.
