SAN ANTONIO — There is nothing cuter than kids in their Halloween costumes, unless it’s NEWBORN BABIES dressed up for Halloween.
The NICU nurses at Baptist Health System’s NEST Women’s Units went above and beyond to help bring the fall season and Halloween fun to the newborn babies and families in their care.
Nurses at Mission Trail Baptist Hospital on the south side of San Antonio and Westover Hills Baptist Hospital on the far west side of San Antonio, created Western-themed Halloween costumes and a rustic fall backdrop – complete with cowboy boots, bandanas, cowboy hats, cow prints, pumpkins and smiles for miles — for new parents to cherish.
They did this for a special photo shoot of the NICU infants currently in their care.
“Doctors and nurses at Baptist Health System are honored to help these new parents welcome their new little bundles of joy and celebrate this very special fall and Halloween memory,” said Natalie A. Gutierrez, Manager, Operations Communications and Public Relations.
Congratulations and Happy Halloween to all the new moms and dads and their newborns who will graduate to great health from the NICUs at Baptist Health System this fall!
