SAN ANTONIO — The Nutcracker didn’t just dance across the stage this year—it leaped, twirled, and sparkled across the canvases of SAISD students in the 2025 Winter Card Contest. The theme sparked a flurry of color, creativity, and candy-coated imagination from students across all grade levels.

This year’s Grand Prize Winner, Mariana V., 11, from Highlands High School, enchanted the judges with a festive masterpiece that blends classic Nutcracker charm with her own vibrant, modern twist. Her artwork will take center stage as the featured design in SAISD’s official holiday card pack.

And good news for anyone looking to add some extra sparkle to their season: SAISD Printing Services is selling card packs featuring all winning designs—25 cards for $15, available while supplies last. Whether you’re sending warm wishes to family, friends, or coworkers, these student-designed cards are guaranteed to spread cheer.
