SAN ANTONIO — Two apartment units had severe fire damage after a fast-moving fire on the northeast side of San Antonio Thursday afternoon.
The fire started in the 8400 block of Quail Creek Drive, near Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel around 12:08 p.m.
Fire officials say a woman frantically called 911 to say her desk caught on fire. The fire reportedly quickly spread to the attic and a second unit. A second alarm was called as the fire grew, with as many as 100 fire units responding at some point.
Fire officials say everyone made it out of the two apartment units safely and there were no injuries. Fire crews are still looking into the official cause of the fire.
