
Two people were arrested after deputies seized drugs, guns, and cash during a narcotics raid at a smoke shop, according to the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office.
LAKEHILLS, Texas — Two people were arrested after investigators executed a narcotics search warrant at a smoke shop in Bandera County, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Bandera County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit and Criminal Investigation Division carried out the search around 2 p.m. on Jan. 16 at Smoke on the Water, located at 9484 FM 1283 in Lakehills.
Deputies say they recovered more than six ounces of prepackaged marijuana, about 40 grams of liquid methamphetamine, half a gram of cocaine, numerous THC vape products, two handguns and $770 in cash.
Authorities arrested Timothy Saunders of Lakehills on multiple charges, including felon in possession of a firearm, several counts of possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession with intent to deliver THC.
Kirsten Saunders was also arrested and faces multiple felony drug charges, including possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and THC, as well as possession with intent to deliver THC, according to investigators.
Sheriff Josh Teitge said the operation was disguised as a legitimate business and credited deputies for shutting down what he described as a narcotics distribution and sales operation.
The sheriff’s office said it will continue targeting illegal drug activity in an effort to improve public safety across the county.
The investigation remains ongoing.
