Two arrested, two still sought after stolen vehicle found on west side, SAPD says

SAPD recovered a stolen car, two stolen guns and narcotics after four suspects fled near S. Zarzamora.

SAN ANTONIO — Two people are in custody and two others remain at large after officers located a stolen vehicle on the city’s west side Tuesday morning.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were en route to another call around 9:25 a.m. when they were alerted to a stolen vehicle parked near San Carlos Street and South Zarzamora.

Police say four suspects were connected to the vehicle. When officers arrived, three suspects fled on foot while one remained inside a nearby location.

One suspect was found hiding underneath a vehicle and taken into custody. Another was located inside a restaurant and detained. Two suspects remain outstanding.

Authorities identified one of the suspects as a 19-year-old male. Additional suspect information has not been released.

After recovering the stolen vehicle, officers say they found two stolen firearms and narcotics inside.

The case is being investigated as a theft of vehicle. Police say the investigation remains active as they continue searching for the remaining suspects.
