Two crashes slow down San Antonio morning commutes

Morning commutes are always a little dicey, and for many San Antonio drivers Tuesday morning, December 19, things just got a bit more hectic as a couple of minor crashes left traffic merging to avoid first responders. Two minor crashes along a major highway in San Antonio may leave morning commuters a bit delayed, so it’d be wise to prepare for a late start or to find an alternate route.

First responders are already working to clear one minor crash near Callaghan Road on Loop 410 on the Northwest Side of town, and two trucks are already on the scene to move any damaged vehicles off the roadway. However, just a mile or two up Loop 410, another crash has occurred leaving traffic backed up along the major San Antonio highway.

Traffic cameras from the Texas Department of Transportation show some traffic woes for eastbound traffic on Loop 410 right where the major highway intersects with I-10. While there’s no injuries or major damage reported, the map from the Texas Department of Transportation shows there may be some slowdown for a while as first responders clear the minor crash scenes.
