A man and woman were taken to the hospital in stable condition after a late-night head-on crash on West Hausman Road.
SAN ANTONIO — Two people were taken to the hospital following a serious crash on the city’s northwest side late Sunday night, according to San Antonio police.
Officers responded around 9:41 p.m. to the 8000 block of West Hausman Road for reports of a two-vehicle crash.
A police sergeant said a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were taken to University Hospital after what appears to have been a head-on collision. Investigators say no witnesses have come forward, and it is unclear how the crash occurred.
Firefighters had to cut into the man’s vehicle to free him from the wreckage, police said.
Both patients are listed in stable condition, though officials say they suffered considerable injuries.
At this time, no charges have been filed. San Antonio police, firefighters, and EMS all responded to the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing, and details may change as more information becomes available.
