SAN ANTONIO — It was a dangerous night for pedestrians across town and now police are now looking for two drivers they say hit people and then took off.
One crash happened in the northside, and the other was on the southwest side of town.

The first one happened a few minutes before 10 p.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of Blanco Road, about five blocks north from Hildebrand.
Police say a 61-year-old man was leaving a Dollar Store when he was run down by a driver in an SUV that took off following the crash.
The man was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition and detectives were called to the scene from the unit that looks into fatal crashes, which speaks to the seriousness of the incident.
The second serious crash happened about an hour later on the south side of San Antonio. South General McMullen Drive
Police say the second victim was also a man who was crossing the street in a crosswalk.
Officers say he was hit by a driver in a pickup truck that also fled. That victim was also taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
It’s early in the investigation so police haven’t said much about the vehicles they’re after but as we learn more, we will share it.
