Two people critically injured in stabbing at southwest side apartment, SAPD says

Police say the suspect ran off immediately following the stabbing.

SAN ANTONIO — Two people are in critical condition after being stabbed by a suspect who fled from the scene on the southwest side of town Saturday night.

San Antonio Police responded to the Artisan at Mission Creek Apartments on Yarrow Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. for reports of a double stabbing.

When officers arrived at the location, they found two victims. They were both taken in critical condition to an area hospital.

According to the sergeant on the scene, three people were inside an apartment when some type of altercation took place. During the disturbance, one of the men stabbed the two other people, a man and woman. The suspect then ran off. 

Police are still actively searching the area for the suspect, and provided very limited information. 

No description was given by the two victims. No other injuries were reported.
