Houston police said two people who were in the home later died at a hospital.
HOUSTON — Two people are dead after a house fire in north Houston early Saturday morning.
This the fire broke out shortly before 4 a.m. at a home on Rebecca Street, which is off of Fulton Street near East Crosstimbers Street.
The Houston Fire Department told us they were eventually able to get the older couple out of the house and to the hospital, but police updated us later that they both passed away.
An investigation into what caused the fire is underway. As soon as we know more, we’ll post it here.
