SAN ANTONIO — Two people were taken into custody near John Jay High School after an apparent “incident” unfolded Wednesday morning, according to Northside ISD.
District officials say a student and a non-student became disruptive near the front parking lot of the school and ignored the NISD police officers on scene. The two individuals did attempt to evade the officers but were quickly detained and taken into custody.
During the incident, one NISD police officer sustained a minor injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
SAPD did arrive on scene to assist with the incident.
The district says all students and staff are safe.
The incident remains an active investigation.
This is a developing story.
