
The vehicle was pulling out of a private parking lot on Marbach Road when it was hit by an incoming GMC, according to police.
SAN ANTONIO — Two people in their 70s are in critical condition after a crash on the far west side, according to police.
Police say a 70-year-old man was driving a 2010 Hyundai with a 72-year-old woman in the passenger seat just after 6 p.m. Friday night. The Hyundai was pulling out of a private parking lot located in the 7500 block of Marbach Road to travel westbound.
As the Hyundai was exiting the parking lot, police say a GMC traveling eastbound on Marbach in the passing lane hit the Hyundai.
Both the driver and passenger of the Hyundai were taken to the hospital in critical condition, where they remain as of Saturday morning.
The three occupants of the GMC were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
At this time the crash is still under investigation and no charges are pending.
