
Heavy rain Friday morning stranded two vehicles in northeast San Antonio, leading to driver rescues by fire officials.
SAN ANTONIO — Two vehicles got stuck in high water Friday morning on the northeast side after heavy rain hit the San Antonio area.
Officials with the San Antonio Fire Department say a truck and a car got stuck at Lookout Road between Old O’Connor Road and Judson Road. around 6 a.m.
The two drivers were rescued and brought to safety, officials said.
After the rescue, fire crews put up barriers because drivers were still trying to get through the crossing. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area.
Heavy rain and flooding hit San Antonio once again Friday morning after days of storms, causing dangerous conditions, especially at low water crossings.
