SAN ANTONIO — Two National Guardsmen in Texas are dead after a single vehicle accident in Laredo. Police say the 21-year-old driver attempted to perform CPR but was unable to revive him. Witnesses say the driver then took his own life.
Firefighters believe a fire may have been set intentionally after it destroys an abandoned home just west of downtown late Monday. The San Antonio Fire Department responded to the 3100 block of West Houston Street near West Commerce Street around 11 :10 p.m. for reports of a house fire.
