Beginning Dec. 19, drivers will have seen the last of the closures impacting the Loop 1604 North Expansion project for the remainder of the year!
SAN ANTONIO — TxDOT has released their holiday travel update, which includes 22 days with no closures during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays!
As the calendar above shows, Thanksgiving weekend appears to be free from from any closures that impact the Loop 1604 North Expansion project.
But that all ends come Dec. 1 when standard daily/nightly closures will come into play through the fourth before weekend closures begin.
Before the heaviest of the Christmas travel begins, there will be 10-straight nights that will see some lanes and ramps having “altering daily lane closures” from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Beginning Dec. 19, drivers will have seen the last of the closures for the remainder of the year!
