Tyler Guyton out 4-6 weeks with bone fracture after training camp injury, reports say

The Dallas Cowboys’ tackle Tyler Guyton suffered a bone fracture at training camp, sidelining him for 4-6 weeks.

OXNARD, Calif. — The Dallas Cowboys‘ offensive line may have just suffered a significant blow.

According to WFAA’s Joe Trahan, second-year tackle Tyler Guyton went down with an apparent injury Monday afternoon during the team’s training camp in Oxnard, Calif. Reports say Guyton was on the ground for a moment before walking off the field on his own with training staff.

Sources originally feared that Guyton may have torn his ACL, but an MRI revealed a bone fracture that will not require surgery, as first reported by ESPN reporter Todd Archer. That injury will likely sideline the left tackle for four to six weeks. By comparison, an ACL injury would likely have put him out for the season.

Still, fans may not see Guyton suit up for opening day.
