US Soccer unveils jerseys and full kits for 2026 World Cup

“These are our Stars & Stripes,” U.S. Soccer said in their announcement on Monday.

CHICAGO — Soccer players from the United States will be wrapped in stars and stripes when they play on their home turf during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the teams announced on Monday.

U.S. Soccer partnered with Nike to develop the kits, or uniforms, which will be worn across all 27 U.S. Soccer National Teams, according to a press release sent out by the organization. The design of the kits will unify all of the teams under one full visual identity, a first for U.S. teams.

The collection features two distinct jerseys, a stars kit and a stripes kit, alongside a unique “Hollywood Goalkeeper” kit, the organization said. Outside of the designs, the kits will be made with Nike’s AERO-FIT, which includes lightweight breathability, mobility and comfort in all weather conditions.

“A national team jersey represents the pride of wearing the crest, not just for players on the field, but also for the fans who support them every step of the way,” U.S. Soccer Chief Commercial Officer Dave Wright said in the press release. “With the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup coming to the United States, we’re excited to see players across all 27 of our National Teams and supporters across the country wearing this kit as we build toward an incredible moment for the game.”

First World Cup hosted by U.S. in over 30 years

North America will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with matches set to be played across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The expanded tournament will feature 104 matches, including games in 11 U.S. cities, three cities in Mexico and two in Canada. It will be the first World Cup jointly hosted by three countries and the first to include 48 teams.

It all kicks off on June 11, 2026, and the full match schedule has been revealed.
