SAN ANTONIO — Attention Military City!
USAA announced its new sponsorship of the 2025 Valero Texas Open. USAA will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the annual Night to Honor Our Heroes, a special banquet meant to celebrate the men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The Night to Honor Our Heroes will be held on Friday, April 4 from 5 p.m. – 9p.m. at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. Guests will get an exclusive look at rare military artifacts, hear moving speeches, and meet with golfing legend and World Golf Hall of Fame member Jack Nicklaus. The proceeds will support military-focused charities.
“The Valero Texas Open shares USAA’s passion for supporting the military community,” Valero Texas Open Executive Director Larson Segerdahl said. “This partnership will allow us to further enhance our military appreciation platform and on-site experience for all those who are currently serving, veterans and military family members that attend the event.”
As part of their long-standing tradition of honoring Military City, USAA and the Valero Texas Open are offering complimentary tickets to the tournament for local service members and veterans. Active Duty, Guard, Reserve and veterans along with one guest, can register for their tickets here.
Complimentary benefits include:
- Free admission to Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s round of competition.
- Free Parking at River City Community Church from Thursday to Sunday.
- Access to the Heroes Pavilion, presented by Upland Exploration. It’s located on the 17th green. (Military guests can enjoy complimentary snacks, non-alcoholic refreshments, and covered seating).
- USAA will have a booth in the Heroes Pavilion, where guests can take special pictures.
