Uvalde law enforcement officers investigating Christmas night shooting

It happened around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday near Boone and Shook Streets, just off West Main Street.

UVALDE, Texas — Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Christmas night in Uvalde.

Uvalde County Constable Emmanuel Zamora reported the shooting investigation in a Facebook post. It happened around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday near Boone and Shook Streets, just off West Main Street. 

Officials report there was a large police presence, but at last check no injuries were reported. Officials also said there was no active threat to the community.

The scene cleared just before 1 a.m. Thursday morning. Uvalde Police are still investigating the shooting incident.
