The Spurs rookies get their first taste of NBA basketball.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Victor Wembanyama and Team France continued their Olympic exhibition slate against Germany, cruising to an easy 90-66 win.
Wembanyama finished with 25 points and five rebounds to lead France to the win.
France will next face Germany in another exhibition game on July 8.
SPURS ROOKIES MAKE THEIR SUMMER LEAGUE DEBUT
Spurs rookies Stephon Castle and Harrison Ingram made their Summer League debuts at the California Classic against the Hornets.
Castle finished with 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists to lead the Spurs in a 97-65 loss in their first game of the California Classic in Sacramento. He also showed his defensive awareness and played with pace.
Ingram finished with seven rebounds in 26 minutes. Nathan Mensah added a game-high 10 rebounds.
San Antonio will face the Kings on Sunday at 9:00 P.M., giving them another chance for their first Summer League win.
