SAN ANTONIO — The NBA released the first fan returns for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, and San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama is currently at the No. 5 spot among the West’s frontcourt.
Wemby received 928,501 fan votes, placing him behind Denver’s Nikola Jokic (No. 1), Phoenix’s Kevin Durant (No. 2), the Lakers’ LeBron James (No. 3), and the Lakers’ Anthony Davis (No.4).
Interestingly, he will enter Friday’s game against Jokic (1,422,121 fan votes), and a good showing against the Nuggets All-Star might help him with fan voting.
Fans cast 50% of the vote to determine the starters for the NBA All-Star Game, while current NBA players and a media panel each cast 25%.
Friday is the next “3-for-1 Day,” when each fan vote counts three times. The next fan voting update will be shared on Thursday, Jan. 9. Spurs fans can vote for Wemby and the rest of the Spurs at NBA.com.
Wemby is currently 25.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 48.0% field goal percentage.
The NBA All-Star Game will be on Feb. 16 in San Francisco.
