Video containing threats to Seguin HS leads to arrests of two teens, police say

SEGUIN, Texas — Two teens have been arrested after the Sequin Police Department was made aware of a video containing threats toward Sequin HS was circulating on social media, according to a press release

The police were made aware of the video on Nov. 9 and worked closely with Sequin ISD administrators to fully investigate the social media post. 

During the investigation 18-year-old, Isiah Heider and 19-year-old, Franklin Naiper were charged for one count of terroristic threats, according to the release. 

The two teens were taken into custody Thursday evening with a bond set at $100,000, police say. 

Sequin Police says there will be an increased presence of law enforcement tomorrow to patrol the area. 

The case remains under investigation.
