SAN ANTONIO — Video sent to KENS 5 by a viewer shows a donkey running along the highway on the northeast side of San Antonio.
Viewer David Jefferson said the video was taken around 11 a.m. on North Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel.
An officer from SAPD’s north patrol said the donkey was spotted by several drivers and made it all the way to Holbrooke and Eisenhower. At some point, the animal went into the woods at Salado Creek.
There is no word yet on where the donkey came from or how it ended up on the highway.
